Role Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer (C#) to join our engineering team and drive software quality across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate is an experienced quality engineering professional with a strong background in C# test automation, modern testing frameworks, and software engineering best practices. In this role, you will work closely with Software Engineers, Solution Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable automation solutions, defining testing strategies, and continuously improving engineering practices to deliver reliable, high-quality software. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks and solutions using C#/.NET. - Define and implement test strategies covering UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for enterprise applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software quality, reliability, and application testability throughout the development lifecycle. - Drive automation-first and shift-left testing practices by integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establishing quality gates. - Perform root cause analysis of complex defects and production issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous quality improvements. - Lead test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting while monitoring automation coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness. - Mentor QA engineers and champion quality engineering best practices, while evaluating new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - 8+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation, Quality Engineering, or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles. - 5+ years of hands-on experience developing test automation solutions using C#/.NET. - Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade test automation frameworks. - Strong experience with Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver. - Hands-on experience with NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest. - Strong experience automating UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. - Strong experience testing REST APIs, including API automation and integration testing. - Solid SQL skills and experience validating relational databases. - Experience testing distributed, service-oriented, or microservices-based applications. - Proven experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools. - Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git, and modern quality engineering practices. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Requirements - FIX conformance via QuickFIX/N simulators; schema registry tooling. - ISTQB Advanced/CSTE, Azure Fundamentals / Azure DevOps Engineer. - Finance certs (CFA/FRM), Agile/Scrum experience.
