Senior Backend Developer

• Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services • Develop clean, efficient, and testable code in PHP 8.4 (Laravel) • Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases • Implement best practices for security, authentication, and authorization • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end • Review code, enforce standards, and mentor other developers • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for scale
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of product development experience using different technologies;
- Very good understanding of systems architecture;
- Has previous experience in code optimization;
- Must be knowledge in the Agile Development Methodology;
- Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x with Laravel
- Must possess expert knowledge in MySQL
- Proven experience with RESTful API design and microservices
- Solid database skills: MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL systems (MongoDB, Redis)
- Must have significant experience in dealing with large datasets and managing data;
- Strong understanding of testing, CI/CD, and deployment practices
- Has strong attention to detail;
- Excellent communicator;
- Adopts an “Out-of-the-box” thinking;
- Ability to break down problems and generate solutions;
