Data Scientist

Reach University

• Understanding the flow of data across the University's different systems, including which fields can be found where, how the data are formatted, and the informations the fields should be capturing • Applying advanced ETL knowledge to support the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of integrated data reporting • Analyzing the data to generate actionable insights • Effectively communicating findings to stakeholders • Building relationships with different departments to ensure that data needs across the University are being met

Job Requirements

  • BA or higher in Data Science, Economics, or related field;
  • 3-5 years of experience in applied analytics or institutional research;
  • Strong proficiency in Python (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, tidyverse);
  • Experience with BI tools (Domo, Tableau, or Power BI);
  • Familiarity with ETL workflows and SQL-based querying;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and storytelling skills;
  • Curiosity - we learn rapidly and eagerly;
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple concurrent projects;
  • Preferred: Experience in higher education, labor market, or workforce analytics.
