• Build & Own Critical Trading Services Design, build, deploy, and operate scalable Java services powering trading, pricing, execution, and liquidity. Own critical backend services end to end, from architecture and implementation to production support and continuous improvement. • Trading, Execution & Liquidity Develop and improve order management, execution, pricing, market data, and liquidity management capabilities. Build and maintain integrations with exchanges, liquidity providers, custodians, payment providers, and other external platforms. Improve execution quality through better pricing accuracy, spreads, fill rates, liquidity availability, and reduced slippage. • Build Reliable Financial Systems Design reliable order lifecycles covering validation, routing, execution, settlement, reconciliation, cancellations, retries, and recovery. Ensure financial correctness across balances, positions, fees, and settlements through precision, idempotency, consistency, and auditability. Build distributed systems that behave correctly under concurrency, retries, duplicate events, and eventual consistency. • Improve Performance & Reliability Continuously improve system performance, resilience, observability, throughput, and operational readiness. Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements. Build testing strategies covering unit, integration, contract, performance, and resilience testing. • Raise the Engineering Bar Participate in architecture and technical design decisions across the Trading & Liquidity squad. Review code, mentor engineers, and help raise engineering standards across the team. Collaborate closely with Product, Platform, QA, Security, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Operations to deliver reliable financial systems.

• Error analysis and resolution: Investigate issues using logs, debugging and code analysis to ensure accurate diagnosis. • Solution tracking: Monitor and report progress of remediation actions until incidents are fully resolved. • Collaboration with partner teams: Engage other teams when necessary to promote agility and cooperation. • Incident prevention: Develop permanent solutions that eliminate recurring causes of failures. • Quality assurance: Validate and test technical deliverables before production deployment. • Production releases: Execute RDM (Request for Deployment Management) processes, including outside regular business hours. • Technical documentation: Create and maintain technical and operational documentation for clients and internal use. • System monitoring: Create and optimize services and dashboards to ensure high system availability and performance.

• Partner with the Data Architect to inventory existing data sources, run gap analysis, and design the pipelines and integrations that feed the Knowledge Graph platform. • Inventory existing data sources (APIs, schemas, quality, schema markup); • Run gap analysis between current systems and the target Knowledge Graph model; • Support System Architecture design with integration and data-flow input; • Design ETL/ELT pipelines into the target lakehouse/data lake (e.g., OneLake), using tools such as Fabric Data Factory and Dataflows Gen2, or equivalent; • Design the LLM enrichment pipeline and human-review workflow; • Document API contracts, source-to-target mappings, and pipeline sequencing for Build.
