• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Apache Spark, Kafka, and AWS. • Architect high-performance microservices supporting complex capitation-based healthcare payment systems. • Build event-driven solutions and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. • Design and implement LLM-powered agents to drive innovation in healthcare workflows. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. • Mentor engineering teams and promote best practices in software architecture, design patterns, and microservices.

Job Requirements

  • 15+ Years of Experience Required
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Spark
  • Experience with AWS, Kafka, and Python
  • Experience designing microservices and distributed systems
  • Hands-on experience building AI/LLM-powered agents
  • Healthcare domain experience, preferably with capitation/payment processing
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable enterprise applications.

Role Description SAIC has an immediate need for a Software Safety Engineer for the Precision Fires (PF) projects for performance of risk analyses and hazard analyses on integrated systems forming part of advanced weapons systems for the DoD.
