• You design, take responsibility for, and manage the end-to-end technical architecture of cloud and hybrid solutions based on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) • You advise our clients (energy utilities and municipal utilities) on decoupling legacy systems (legacy code) and lead the transformation toward future-proof side-by-side extensions on the BTP • You design complex integration scenarios between SAP S/4HANA Utilities, cloud models, and third-party systems, making extensive use of the SAP Integration Suite • You define company-wide development, security, and architecture guidelines for the BTP and ensure their enforcement across onshore and nearshore teams • You act as the technical mastermind, support large projects from feasibility study to go-live, and steer the technical implementation carried out by nearshore development teams • You continuously evaluate the latest SAP cloud technologies and embed forward-looking approaches into our portfolio.
Job Requirements
- Several years of solid experience in the technical conception, design, and orchestration of complex SAP system landscapes with a clear focus on SAP BTP
- Excellent knowledge of BTP architecture principles as well as modern development frameworks such as the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
- Proven experience with the SAP Integration Suite (CPI), managing OData/REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and modern security standards (OAuth, SAML)
- Outstanding understanding of modern software architecture, Clean Core principles, cloud security, and performance optimization
- Experience in leading and managing distributed, interdisciplinary project and nearshore teams, with a strongly developed strategic and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at management and C-level, enthusiasm for client consulting, as well as business-fluent German and very good English skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level, proactive technical support to our global employees, ensuring seamless operations and efficient use of technology.
