Ana Solodkin and Steven Small, is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral research associate, in the computational modeling for early diagnosis of Alzheimer Disease. This position will utilize model-based and model free metrics as individual fingerprinting for early diagnosis in dementia specially in Alzheimer Disease. The approach seeks to assess brain dynamics to provide a mechanistic assessment in converters to AD. The modeling approach will utilize The Virtual Brain neuroinformatics platform. The work entails significant effort in computational neuroscience and biophysics. This position is tied to the North Texas Alzheimer Disease Research Center and is funded by the NIH. This position is in the Department of Neuroscience in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD - bbs.utdallas.edu), in collaboration with the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern (UTSW).
