Job Description

Clinical Strategy Advisor – Reproductive Healthcare, NP/PA/CNM/MD/DO

Upstream USA

• Serve as a subject matter expert to Upstream teams. • Lead development and delivery of clinical trainings. • Partner with product and engineering teams to design digital health tools. • Manage clinical relationships with telehealth partners. • Ensure all digital workflows align with medical standards. • Develop and review clinical content and educational materials. • Conduct quality assurance and evaluation of clinical initiatives. • Collaborate on practice transformation strategies. • Serve as lead clinician on projects.

Job Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse midwife, Physician Assistant, or MD in clinical practice providing contraceptive care.
  • Experience in direct clinical service—specifically in reproductive health
  • Active clinical license (NP, PA, CNM, or MD/DO) with a focus on women’s health, reproductive health, or primary care.
  • Deep knowledge of contraceptive methods, patient-centered counseling, and the barriers to reproductive healthcare.
  • Experience in digital health delivery, telehealth, or health-tech product development.
  • Knowledge of and experience in best practices to support contraceptive care within community and/or hospital settings.
  • Experience with reproductive justice and gender inclusion framework for sexual and reproductive health.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and protocols in a manner that is clear and concise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicates articulately and efficiently under all circumstances; establishes rapport quickly with all levels of staff; ability to bridge the gap between clinical, technical, and non-technical stakeholders.
