Role Description As a Senior Database Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the data infrastructure that sits at the heart of this platform. Requirements - Experience with Redis for caching — configuration, eviction policies, cluster mode, and integration with application services. - Familiarity with event-driven architecture patterns — including event sourcing, CQRS, and the data modelling considerations they introduce. - Experience in fintech, banking, or a regulated data environment. - AWS and/or Microsoft Azure database certifications. - Experience with database observability tooling — slow query analysis, execution plan visualisation, and replication monitoring at scale. - Familiarity with data residency and cross-border data transfer requirements across African markets.
