• Leading Minerva’s commercial and trading operations in the region, driving revenue growth and expanding market share through strategic sourcing and customer relationship management. • Developing and executing sales and trading strategies aligned with revenue and profitability targets. • Identifying new business opportunities and expanding presence in domestic and international meat markets. • Negotiating purchase and sales contracts while managing trading risks. • Managing and growing key customer accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships. • Monitoring global meat market trends, pricing, supply and demand dynamics, and competitor activity. • Providing accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence to senior leadership. • Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and internal policies. • Collaborating cross-functionally with logistics, operations, and marketing teams. • Representing the company at trade shows and industry events.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in sales and/or trading, preferably in the meat or food products sector
- Strong knowledge of meat products, cuts, and the meat supply chain
- Deep understanding of international meat markets, trading practices, and logistics
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with solid risk management capabilities
- Ability to interpret market data and build sales forecasts
- Experience managing key accounts and negotiating contracts
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Existing relationships within the food industry
- Spanish or English language skills
