Quantitative Modeler
Ambitionary
• Performs quantitative research, analysis, model development, and model validation for a number of products • Conducts analysis comparative to different markets and geographies • Researches independently while working alongside financial industry expertise • Applies knowledge attained to model scenarios • Examines scenarios like market impacts based on cryptocurrency movements
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline (CompSci, Math, Statistics, Physics etc)
- 1 Year of working experience is all that we require, but will consider resumes of all backgrounds
- Must be proficient in Python and familiar with distributed computing frameworks (e.g. Spark)
- MATLAB, R, C++, SQL or some combination thereof to overcome Python’s limitations
- Be able to explain Python’s limitations and why we should develop a model in another technology
- Javascript would be cool to have just because
- This position is available only to candidates currently eligible to work in the United States.
