Regional Sales Engineer
Vega
• Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers to support a defined set of strategic enterprise accounts. • Act as the technical lead throughout complex enterprise sales cycles, from discovery through close. • Conduct deep technical discovery to understand customer security operations, data pipelines, detection strategies, and scalability requirements. • Design and present enterprise-grade architectures that demonstrate how Vega fits into and modernizes the SOC. • Lead technical evaluations, pilots, and proof-of-value (PoV) engagements that clearly articulate ROI, performance, and operational impact. • Deliver compelling technical demos tailored to executive, practitioner, and platform audiences. • Position Vega as a strategic alternative to legacy SIEM, security analytics, and data platforms, addressing scale, cost, and operational complexity. • Support executive briefings, customer QBRs, and architecture reviews with senior security and IT leadership. • Provide product feedback based on real-world customer use cases to influence roadmap and go-to-market strategy. • Maintain accurate technical opportunity notes, evaluation plans, and PoV outcomes in Salesforce and internal systems. • Stay current on evolving security analytics trends, cloud architectures, and AI-driven SOC workflows.
