Dietitian Health Coach – 6-Month Contract

• Manage a caseload of clients through our CRM and WhatsApp-integrated communication system • Support clients on medically supported weight loss journeys and coordinate nutritional management alongside their prescribed treatment and doctor • Write or create personalised, motivational client content grounded in evidence • Conduct onboarding and follow-up goal setting calls with clients • Track client progress and adjust guidance accordingly • Guide clients through real clinical complexity: weight management alongside hypertension, cardiovascular disease, pre-diabetes and diabetes • Maintain a high-touch, high-volume, clinically grounded coaching approach
Job Requirements
- BSc in Dietetics or BDietetics (4 years study + 1 year community service)
- Current HPCSA registration as an independent practising dietitian
- A passion for all things health and fitness
- Experience in medical weight loss or obesity pharmacotherapy (preferred but not required)
- Experience or training in behaviour change, particularly technology-mediated coaching (preferred but not required)
- Experience managing overweight, obesity and related chronic conditions (hypertension, CVD, pre-diabetes, diabetes) (preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication skills both over text and video
- Ability to work independently and sustain momentum without daily oversight
- Knowledge in nutrition science and evidence-based nutrition coaching
