Title: Associate Finance Analyst Location: United States Job Description: - This role is open to applicants in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, and St. Louis.* WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The Associate Finance Analyst is responsible for the overall financial management for our client portfolio, their commercial agreement, reporting and general day-to-day activities. The Analyst supports the finance team and business leads for all financial deliverables to clients, including reporting, reconciliations and staff plan pricing / reviews. The Analyst works closely to ensure financial elements of the client relationship are communicated, tracked, monitored and managed. The role of the Associate Finance Analyst requires strong attention to detail, is approachable and solution-oriented when presented with problems / issues by staff and team, breaks down problems and issues into critical parts which can be resolved. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES) - Support the Client Finance team to monitor the financial health of assigned client accounts - Run reports for month-end close, primarily related to revenue recognition - Review staff plans and program estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with Momentum and client policies - Track outstanding and approved program estimates - Run budget and forecast reports to monitor project burn for both fee and pass through costs - Support client budget reporting requirements, audit requests, and data collection - Review expense write-offs and advise Client Finance Manager/Director of expenditures - Manage cash flow while reviewing vendor payment requests - Collect commentary on uncollected and past due invoices - Facilitate communication with domestic and international offices for intercompany transactions and aid in processing documentation - Review employee reimbursable expenses that require finance approval (i.e. non-billable expenses, expenses missing receipts) - Review and approve travel requests from Momentum employees - Maintain files, contracts and other relevant documentation for the Finance team - Run ad hoc financial queries - Supporting Momentum's values - All other duties as assigned HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS) - Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting - Possess analytical rigor and be detail oriented - Focused on strong/clear communication across all company departments - Experience with SAP, not necessary but a plus VA - Work from home The salary range for this position is from $50,000 to $60,000.
