Who we want The Finance Grant Manager is an independent and detailed-oriented finance manager who ensures 100% grant financial compliance for United Way and funded subcontractors on federal, state, city, and private grants. The Finance Grant Manager is a member of the Finance and Planning Department and is one of the principal staff members responsible for financial systems, budgeting, and financial reporting for government and private grants. You will develop effective systems for submitting and monitoring funding and reimbursement requests to grantors and subcontractors and liaise with the grant program managers on issues related to the grant. You will ensure that the financials, invoices, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders for grants are effective, efficient, and accurate. The Finance Grants Manager reports to the Controller and the Chief Financial officer. You will also delegate to and oversee the work of any staff accountants assigned to work on grants.
