Job Description

Broadcast Research Analyst

Sportradar

• Generate, analyze and adjust custom reports based on client needs. • Produce proactive insights and game notes to support live broadcasts and pre/post game coverage. • Utilize SQL code to generate charts and reports from robust data sets. • Assist with QA and maintenance of the research tool and datasets. • Utilize ticketing systems to communicate directly with clients as well as to internally track the progression of issues. • Leverage sports knowledge to create data-driven insights for broadcasts. • Meet time sensitive deadlines. • Identify potential quality issues and escalate as needed. • Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with programming/coding strongly preferred (SQL, XML, Python, HTML, CSS, etc.)
  • Fundamental understanding of major sports (NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, WNBA, college)
  • Works effectively under pressure and maintains a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively suggest improvements.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team to quickly and effectively resolve technical issues.
  • Data analytics and reporting experience preferred.
  • Passionate about sports.
  • Flexible schedule, with the ability to work weeknights, weekends and holidays.
