• Design, develop, and maintain both frontend (React) and backend (Python) components of web applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement new features end-to-end. • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following software development best practices. • Architect and integrate cloud-based solutions using AWS services to ensure reliability and scalability. • Optimize application performance and ensure a seamless, high-quality user experience. • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality standards. • Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to continuously improve solutions. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field.
- Solid hands-on experience with React for frontend development, including component architecture and state management.
- Strong proficiency in Python FastAPI for backend development, including RESTful API design and implementation.
- Practical experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or equivalent).
- Experience working with AI systems or AI-powered applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional team environments.
- English: Advanced (required for effective communication with global teams).

Role Description The Unconventional is seeking a qualified Language Instructor to support The Language Enabled Airman Program (LEAP) and the Air Force Culture and Language Center (AFCLC).
