Role Description We need an English-fluent Fullstack Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills. - Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, features, and systems. - Work with senior team members to ensure your designs and implementations follow architectural guidelines and best practices. - Participate in architectural design, contribute to system-level decisions, and ensure the scalability, security, and performance of software solutions. - Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the team. - Collaborate with others to solve complex technical challenges. - Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability. - Create technical documentation for software components as needed. - Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously bring innovation to the team. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience using Python as the primary backend language. - Experience working with relational databases, preferably SQL Server or PostgreSQL. - Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js (you will be working with a combination of Ember and React). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience strongly preferred. - Experience with NodeJS is a Plus. Requirements - The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,500 - $3,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset. - This position is offered as an initial one-year contract, with the possibility of extension based on the client’s needs. - This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform. - The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client. • You'd be one of three engineers on a small senior team, working directly with me (CEO), rebuilding the whole experience around agents that work for the user. You'll ship to millions of people who'll tell you, immediately, whether your thing worked. • AI features end-to-end. You own the API, the model orchestration, the streaming UI, the evals, the rollout. Nothing gets thrown over a wall. • Agentic workflows. Multi-step agents that research roles, analyze careers, write bullets, prep interviews, negotiate offers. Real agents, not chatbots with retrieval bolted on. • Streaming interfaces that feel instant, handle retries gracefully, and degrade well when a model does something weird. • The eval system this team needs. Harnesses, regression suites, latency and cost budgets. The thing that lets the next ten engineers ship without vibes. • Prompt and feature iteration infra. The system that lets us A/B test a new prompt without shipping a release. • Time with users. Customer calls, support tickets, user interviews. You'll know who you're building for, by name.
