Senior Director, GTM Strategy, Marketing Operations

• Co-Own Marketing GTM Strategy (with Head of Demand Generation) • Partner with the Head of Demand Generation to define how Marketing drives pipeline and revenue across inbound, outbound, ABM, and enterprise motions • Align on ICP prioritization, segmentation, channel mix, and campaign strategy • Own Forecasting, Targets & Performance • Own marketing pipeline targets, forecasts, and performance against plan • Develop and manage models for pipeline generation, conversion, and ROI across channels • Provide visibility into performance and ensure both strategy and execution are aligned to hit targets • Own Investment Strategy (Tech + Budget Allocation) • Own and manage the marketing technology budget and overall investment strategy • Partner with Demand Gen and Finance to allocate budget across channels, programs, and tools • Continuously evaluate ROI and reallocate resources to maximize pipeline and efficiency • Translate Strategy → Execution Through Partnership • Define priorities and strategic direction…while partnering with Demand Generation on execution • Set priorities for the Director of Marketing Operations / GTM Engineering to enable scalable execution • Ensure systems, automation, and measurement frameworks support both strategy and program needs • Drive Cross-Functional GTM Alignment • Align with Sales and RevOps on targets, SLAs, and conversion expectations • Influence sales follow-up, routing, and coverage to improve funnel performance • Represent marketing strategy in broader GTM and revenue planning discussions • Insights & Optimization • Turn data into actionable insights that inform both GTM strategy and demand generation execution • Identify funnel gaps and prioritize improvements in partnership with Demand Gen • Bring a strong POV on where to invest, scale, or pull back

Job Requirements

  • 8–12+ years in B2B SaaS marketing strategy, revenue / marketing operations, or demand generation leadership
  • Deep technical expertise across CRM platforms, marketing automation suites, and workflow orchestration tools to enable seamless systems integration
  • Proven ownership of pipeline targets and marketing-driven revenue outcomes
  • Strong experience with forecasting, funnel modeling, and performance management
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel GTM (inbound, outbound, ABM, enterprise sales cycles)
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, including technology and media investment
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, RevOps, Finance) without direct authority
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking…paired with enough operational fluency to guide execution

Key Responsibilities: Campaign Execution & Operations Manage end-to-end build and deployment of email and SMS campaigns supporting CLM initiatives across international markets, including batch sends and automated journeys. Additionally, initiatives would include localized in-product messaging in partnership with product teams. Build and QA dynamic templates using HTML/CSS and AMPscript, configure audience segments via data extensions, and ensure campaigns are localized appropriately for regional audiences while maintaining compliance with local regulations. Regional Enablement & Collaboration Partner closely with the APAC Regional Head and international marketing stakeholders to understand regional priorities, campaign calendars, and audience nuances. Serve as the operational bridge between global marketing infrastructure and regional execution needs, ensuring programs are delivered on time and aligned to local market strategies. Journey Builder & Automation Configure and manage automated journeys in SFMC Journey Builder supporting key CLM moments — onboarding, engagement, retention, win-back, and renewal — adapted for international audiences. Support the ongoing migration from Automation Studio to Journey Builder across international programs. Localization & Compliance Ensure all campaigns adhere to regional data privacy and communication regulations including GDPR, CASL, PDPA, and other applicable frameworks across APAC markets. Partner with legal and compliance teams to maintain up-to-date suppression lists and consent management practices across regions. Data & Personalization Maintain and organize data extensions and audience segments specific to international markets. Partner with the data science team to operationalize targeting models adapted for regional audiences and support the development of localized personalization strategies as data capabilities grow. Reporting & Optimization Track and report on campaign performance across international markets including deliverability, engagement, and conversion metrics. Surface regional insights and optimization opportunities, support A/B testing initiatives, and contribute to a test-and-learn culture across CLM programs. Platform Administration Maintain SFMC instance health as it relates to international markets including data extensions, contact list hygiene, consent records, and user access. Stay current on platform capabilities and regional feature availability. Qualifications & Preferred Skills: - 3-5 years of hands-on marketing operations experience with SFMC expertise across Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, MobileConnect, and Contact Builder. - Working knowledge of AMPscript and SQL. - Solid grasp of email deliverability best practices - Solid understanding of international data privacy and compliance regulations including GDPR, CASL, and APAC-specific frameworks such as PDPA - Revenue-driven person with a growth mindset. - Cultural awareness and sensitivity to regional differences in communication, tone, and audience behavior - Strong communicator, comfortable managing high-volume campaign operations across multiple markets, and across timezones while contributing to longer-term platform improvements. - Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications and experience collaborating with data science teams are a strong plus.
