• Accurately and consistently enter provider site and service data into Her PLAN’s CRM system (HubSpot) • Review all entries for completeness, formatting accuracy, and internal consistency • Apply established data standards, naming conventions, and documentation guidelines • Identify and flag missing, unclear, or conflicting information for review or follow-up • Maintain a high level of attention to detail across repetitive, structured data entry tasks • Meet established daily and weekly productivity goals • Communicate questions or data issues promptly to project leads as needed

We value onshore talent who understand the nuances of the American healthcare landscape and take pride in the integrity of their work. - Precision Data Entry: Execute enrichment tasks including application data entry, vendor resource verifications, and board certification updates with 100% accuracy. - Verification & Research: Utilize online primary source databases to cross-check and validate provider information provided by third-party entities. - Application Lifecycle Management: Submit completed credentialing applications and supporting documentation to government and private payers; monitor progress until "in-network" status is confirmed. - Government Compliance: Handle revalidation requests issued by government payers (Medicare/Medicaid) to ensure uninterrupted service for providers. - Professional Communication: Manage inbound and outbound calls to state boards and insurance payers to track application statuses and resolve discrepancies. - Quality Control: Audit applications for completeness and accuracy, participating in internal peer-review processes to maintain high-performance standards. - Data Security: Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and trust when handling sensitive Provider Personal Identifiable Information (PII). Qualifications - Experience: Previous experience in a U.S.-based call center, data entry role, or customer service environment required. - Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with provider credentialing, insurance enrollment, or medical billing (CMS/CAQH) is highly preferred. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex professional conversations with state agencies. - Technical Savvy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and the ability to quickly learn proprietary credentialing software. - Work Style: Ability to work independently in a remote or office setting while remaining an active, collaborative member of the team. - Adaptability: Comfortable with shifting priorities and evolving healthcare regulations. The DQ Senior Coder also completes appeals processing tasks for both the inpatient and outpatient Data Quality Appeal Teams. In all responsibilities, adheres to the Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, AHIMA Code of Ethics “Standards of Ethical Coding”, AHA Coding Clinic and technical rules outlined by hospital guidelines. - Supports the mission statement of Munson Medical Center (MMC): Munson Medical Center is the core of a regional health system. Collaborates intra and interdepartmentally to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper coding. - Assists with outpatient coding reviews as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance with guidelines. Works closely with nurses, analysts, and DQ team members to process denials and appeals and resolves issues. Ability to accurately code and abstract medical records using ICD-10-CM diagnosis, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT-4 procedure codes. Meets productivity standards as defined by the department. - Participates in ongoing education and training to maintain coding certifications and stays current with industry changes. - Assists with special projects, audits, and other tasks assigned by leadership. Qualifications What’s Required - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information is required. CCS certification and 2 years coding experience will be considered. - Certification as a Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) is required. - Two years’ previous coding experience using ICD10-CM, CPT-4 (Outpatient Senior Coder).
