Automation Test Engineer – QA
Gainwell Technologies
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications • Identify test cases suitable for automation and prioritize based on risk and impact • Execute automated regression tests and analyze results • Log, track, and validate defects through resolution • Collaborate with developers during sprint cycles to ensure testability • Participate in test planning, test case reviews, and retrospectives
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Software QA with hands-on automation testing
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Proficiency in one programming/scripting language (Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#)
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC/STLC
- Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or REST clients
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and Jira or Azure DevOps
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Basic SQL and database validation knowledge
- ISTQB or similar QA certification
