Bookkeeper

Responsibilities - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of all company transactions. - Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and manage ledgers daily. - Process invoices, payments, and expense reports promptly and accurately. - Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely payments and collections. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting. - Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations. - Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and tax filings. - Support payroll processing by preparing necessary reports and documentation. - Communicate financial information effectively to management and other departments.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounting procedures, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with invoicing, payroll, and tax preparation is a plus.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial data.
