Location: UK based – Remote Contract Type: Full time, Permanent About the Team Our Digital Development team builds high‑quality mobile products for Bauer’s audio and digital platforms across international markets. Working closely with product and technology teams, we focus on delivering secure, scalable and user‑centric applications supported by a collaborative, growth‑focused engineering culture. About the Role We’re looking for a Junior Mobile Android Engineer to help design and develop robust Android applications. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle, supporting feature delivery, contributing to architectural discussions, and helping ensure our apps remain performant, secure, and reliable. This role offers hands‑on experience with modern Android development while collaborating with cross‑functional teams on impactful digital products. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain high‑quality Android applications. - Contribute to coding standards, architectural discussions, and best practices. - Collaborate with product and engineering teams on roadmap, refinement, and delivery sessions. - Support debugging, performance improvements, and operational continuity. - Assist with build automation, reporting, and managing technical debt. - Produce clear technical documentation. Qualifications & Experience - 2–3 years’ Android development experience (media/streaming experience is a plus). - Strong understanding of modern Android technologies, API design, and microservices concepts. - Familiarity with CI/CD and modern development practices. - Strong problem‑solving skills and clear communication. - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. - Fluent in English.
