Outdoor Therapist Location: Remote Department: Operations Job Description: At Venture Trust, we are looking for Outdoor Therapists to work within the Greater Glasgow area on a 3 year fixed term basis (April 2026 – March 2029). Our Outdoor Therapists: - are counsellors/therapists registered with an appropriate professional body who can work thoughtfully and ethically with a client group that can have complex clinical presentations - are able to work individually to meet the specific needs of their clients whilst maintaining high professional standards - have personal or professional experience of outdoor environments and will have the capacity to articulate the reasoning behind working therapeutically in natural environment - be able to work reflectively and effectively within a team and be committed to working towards the aims of the service and the organisation In this role, you will work with veterans experiencing complex life circumstances, including the impact of trauma, transition, and mental health challenges. They provide Outdoor Therapy to support clients to move forward in ways that are meaningful for them. Therapists work with clients to explore and reflect through individual therapy, which is offered primarily outdoors in urban greenspaces and, on occasion, online. Ideal candidates will have: - have had training and experience of working with complex trauma presentations - experience or desire to support working in outdoor environments Please note we are open to applications from recent graduates who are keen to learn.
