Part Time Chat & Text Therapist
La Frontera EMPACT - Suicide Prevention Center
• Ensure the quality of services to clients. • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the program. • Recommend and implement changes that would improve the delivery of services. • Provide direct service counseling, ongoing counseling, prevention services, and education services to adults, families, and youth. • Directly supervise remote clinical staff. • Answer all chats & texts in a timely and professional manner. • Effectively assess clinical situations and needs of all chatters. • Provide quality assurance of the program's service delivery. • Complete clinical documentation thoroughly, clearly, and accurately. • Monitor call-in times for clients on 72-Hour Suicide Watch or Safety Follow-Up. • Attend all required meetings and training courses. • Ensure compliance with the agency's standard of care for service delivery. • Maintain professional conduct consistent with ethical practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field.
- Crisis Experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Program Development preferred.
