Job Requirements

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset
  • A university or college degree in a related discipline is considered an asset
  • Currently enrolled or very interested in insurance-related courses such as LOMA and/or ALU courses
  • Demonstrated professional experience as underwriter, at least 5 years of experience
  • Approval limit $3,000,000 to $5,000,000 in life insurance and $250,000 in critical illness insurance
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to define, research and solve problems
  • Excellent mentoring skills
  • Exemplary customer service skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Be able to work under tight deadlines
