• Focus on researching, writing and developing resources for preventing and responding to extremist harm by working alongside our Intelligence Project’s Prevention & Partnerships team. • Assist in developing research and primary and secondary prevention resources for communities. • Monitor news sources and secondary reporting for relevant events. • Identify useful resources, analysis, and information of relevance for the Intelligence Project. • Collaborate with other members of the Intelligence Project team and colleagues across the Center to help advance mutual goals and outcomes related to preventing and responding to hate, extremism and youth-based radicalization. • Uphold our JEDI principles by seeking diverse collaborators and partners that can deliver genuine, authentic and impactful work while ensuring their contributions are directed towards the shared mission, vision and values of the Center and department’s goals.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university, or a graduate program in education, sociology, psychology, counseling, public health, women’s studies or any related fields;
- Demonstrated research capabilities; and
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Benefits
- The Center pays $17.95 per hour for a minimum of 15 hours per week for 18 weeks. There may be opportunity for supervisor approved overtime.

About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Meeting Planner to support the execution of advisory boards, executive one-on-one meetings, and congress-related activities. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to build experience in high-touch, client-facing meetings within a fast-paced environment. This position is focused on logistics coordination and execution, working closely with senior planners and client services leads. About the Role: As a FNP, you will lead member care alongside a team of counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers. You’ll provide evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders. We do not prescribe controlled substances other than Suboxone for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder. Affect provides extensive training on evidence-based approaches to treatment, though medication decisions are ultimately made at the provider’s discretion in collaboration with the member. You must hold an active, unrestricted license in New Mexico. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct initial and follow up telehealth evaluations - Deliver care for substance use - Prescribe medications as appropriate and answer member questions. - Complete documentation in our EHR (Healthie). - Collaborate with your care team and attend occasional scheduled team meetings. Requirements: - Active and verifiable FNP license (Medicaid enrollment is a plus) in the state(s) where you practice, as well as your state of residence if it is not New Mexico . - At least 2 years of experience, ideally in addiction. We will consider relevant previous experience for those with less than 2 years experience as a FNP. - Experience prescribing Suboxone and active DEA registration. - Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure (cost covered by Affect). - Empathy for members facing behavioral health challenges. - Comfort using technology, including EHRs and mobile apps.
