Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
  • At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Expert-level proficiency in MCP, AI Tooling, and/or LLMs
  • Startup experience with a history of shipping products at high speed.
  • 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
  • 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
  • 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks

Experience with K-12 scheduling or being a Master Schedule Builder would be a plus. JOB PURPOSE: Provide onsite and remote training on Synergy Student Information System and related products to Edupoint’s customers. JOB SUMMARY: A SIS Trainer I coordinates with department management to schedule and provide onsite and remote product training to Edupoint’s staff and clients. Additionally, a SIS Trainer I may help to administer webinar events or product demonstrations as part of their regular duties. A SIS Trainer I also works as a team to create training plans and materials to ensure successful training events with the most up-to-date product information possible.
