Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience 5yrs as a Database Engineer, Database Administrator, or related role in managing enterprise-level databases.
- Strong expertise in database design, development, implementation, and administration using relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Proficiency in SQL programming, stored procedures, triggers, and database scripting languages.
- Experience with database performance monitoring tools, backup/recovery solutions, and data modeling tools.
- Knowledge of database security practices, data encryption, access controls, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
