Full Stack Engineer, Ruby on Rails
Sierra
• Build a modern SaaS platform to help CPG brands and manufacturers manage lab testing and compliance • Play a critical role from the start, working alongside the founding engineer and customers to build and refine the platform • Leverage your expertise in systems architecture to evaluate technical trade-offs and make informed decisions • Implement security best practices to safeguard data and application integrity
Job Requirements
- Experienced full stack engineer (4+ YOE) with strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, Tailwind CSS, and PostgreSQL
- Bias to action - this is early stage 0 to 1 execution
- Bonus points if you're comfortable with UI/UX best practices and working closely with design teams
- Mission alignment is critical: looking for folks who are excited about bringing transparency to our food system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of seeing the big picture and solving problems autonomously
- Previous experience in a developer role in high growth startups.
