• Help build and maintain the user interface of our applications • Write, test, and maintain UI code that meets engineering and design standards • Deliver simple, high-quality solutions for assigned work items • Implement accessible, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces with guidance • Support usability, accessibility, and compatibility standards across applications • Collaborate with product, design, and QA to understand requirements and deliver outcomes • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and pull request processes • Manage dependencies of your own work and contribute to team deliverables • Build a working understanding of the systems and UI architecture within your area • Stay current with front-end technologies, tools, and best practices • Contribute to maintaining high-quality user experiences by helping ensure applications are performant, accessible, and aligned with UI standards

• Design, develop and maintain user-friendly web interfaces using React and other frameworks • Collaborate with other developers, end users, stakeholders, contractor teams, and project managers to create visually appealing and intuitive web pages • Integrate backend APIs with front-end code • Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability without compromising on user interface design and overall user experience • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development • Lead development efforts

• Set the technical direction for the team and help guide frontend engineering vision • Create delightful user experiences with an eye towards performance and accessibility • Build reusable components, write unit & integration tests, and continually raise the code quality and developer experience bar • Lead the architecting of important systems and anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges • Design, build, and continually improve Sound's core frontend infrastructure • Act as a player-coach and champion code quality & developer experience • Mentor and train other engineers on the team

• Work as the primary developer within a small, cross-functional team • Collaborate across product, technology and consultancy teams to lead implementations and shape solutions • Turn ideas into working solutions, build proof-of-concept applications, create reusable code samples or develop automation scripts • Engage directly with customers to understand their requirements • Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and guide delivery through to completion
