Data Scientist / Analyst

Carrot Institute

• Gather, clean, and preprocess large and complex datasets from various sources • Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze data and extract actionable insights • Develop and maintain predictive models, algorithms, and scoring systems • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize business problems and data analysis goals • Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences through data visualizations and reports • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization based on data analysis • Work closely with data engineers and software developers to deploy and integrate data science solutions into production systems • Stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in data science and analytics • Provide guidance and support to teams on data-related matters

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong background in data analysis and modeling
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools and techniques
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries, such as Pandas, NumPy, or SciPy
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
