Data Scientist III, Python, SQL, MLOps
Lumini IT Solutions
• Design, develop, validate, deploy and evolve analytical and predictive models that deliver measurable business impact. • Structure and lead end-to-end data science initiatives. • Understand business problems and translate them into analytical hypotheses, statistical models and machine learning solutions. • Develop, train, validate and monitor predictive, classification, prescriptive and segmentation models. • Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data. • Build analytical pipelines and participate in the industrialization/operationalization of models in production. • Define model performance metrics and monitor drift, accuracy, stability and business impact. • Perform data exploration, feature engineering, variable selection and statistical testing. • Support analytical data architecture together with Data, Engineering and BI teams. • Ensure best practices for versioning, documentation, reproducibility and model governance. • Communicate analytical results in an executive, decision-oriented manner. • Act as a technical reference for more junior analysts and data scientists. • Participate in defining the data roadmap, use cases and prioritization of AI and Analytics initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Economics, Information Systems or related field.
- Solid experience in data science, advanced analytics or machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong knowledge of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels, XGBoost or equivalents.
- Advanced SQL experience.
- Strong foundation in statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, statistical inference and predictive modeling.
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised algorithms.
- Experience in model evaluation, tuning and interpretation.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience with notebooks, Git versioning and software development best practices.
- Experience deploying models, MLOps practices or integrating with data engineering/software teams.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks and maintain a business-oriented mindset.
- Experience with Databricks, Spark or distributed processing (desirable).
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD and monitoring models in production (desirable).
- Experience with NLP, large language models (LLMs), computer vision or generative AI (desirable).
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar (desirable).
- Knowledge of modern AI tools and AI Agents (desirable).
- Experience in consulting environments, multi-client projects or technology companies (desirable).
- Knowledge of optimization techniques, time series, causality or experimentation (desirable).
- Technical or advanced English for reading documentation and research articles (desirable).
