In this role you will: - Actively participate in the tender/bid process--from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting - Manage the change management process - identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes that affect the project cost - Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money - Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken - Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments - Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to your team - Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication - Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency - Foster top performance and growth for your employees via excellent mentorship and leadership Qualifications - Experience as a senior cost manager, ideally from a consultancy background - Experience in pre-contract cost management - Knowledgeable on alternative construction materials - Chartered or on the path to complete it - Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline - Excellent communicator verbally and in writing - Dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines - Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients Requirements - All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required - The salary range for this role is between $109,000 and $145,000 but actual salary is dependent on skill set, education and experience Company Description Linesight is a highly successful global project and cost management consultancy that keeps clients coming back. • Manage environmental compliance programs for multiple clients, with a focus on AST, APSA, and Hazardous Waste Generator permitting, training, inspection, and regulatory compliance. • Oversee hazardous waste generator compliance activities in accordance with California and federal regulations. • Lead and grow the AST Compliance service line, ensuring high-quality service delivery and continued revenue performance. • Serve as a primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. • Prepare and manage technical proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for compliance projects. • Coordinate with subcontractors and internal technical teams to ensure successful project execution. • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance goals. • Conduct or oversee facility inspections, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation. • Provide technical guidance and regulatory interpretation related to ASTs, hazardous waste generator requirements, and related environmental compliance programs. • Support collaboration with staff across multiple divisions to deliver integrated environmental services. • 10% - 20% field work performing inspections, AST replacement oversight, SPCC inspections, and related activities.

Provide guidance and leadership, and encourage collaboration to diverse, cross-functional stakeholders - Oversee creation of high quality, executive-level presentations and deliverables, demonstrating initiative status, metric trending, KPI performance, and progress towards business objectives - Develop, prioritize and execute business transformation initiatives to identify and address process and operational inefficiencies across the enterprise, achieving a positive impact on KPI performance - Oversee full life cycle for various projects ensuring successful implementation , including staff resources, business and systems processes and planning - Demonstrate and execute thought leadership through out of the box thinking based in extensive applicable industry knowledge, research and experience - Performs other duties as assigned - Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required. 6+ years in at least three of the following, process improvement/transformation, business/financial analysis, external consulting/auditing/risk analysis, customer journey/experience, organizational change management, IT solution/architecture, project management required.
