Role Description Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Private Money Loan Officer to join their growing team. This role offers a competitive fixed salary with commission potential, providing the opportunity for high earnings. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and fix-and-flip loans, with a strong self-production background. As a Private Money Loan Officer, you will work with clients seeking private financing solutions, building relationships and helping them secure the funding they need. - Manage the loan process for construction and fix-and-flip projects, from initial contact to closing. - Provide financing solutions to real estate investors and developers by underwriting private money loans for fix-and-flip, construction, and rehab projects. - Develop and maintain relationships with clients to generate leads and business. - Self-produce and generate your own leads while also working with some company-provided leads. - Identify and analyze borrower needs, assess project viability, and recommend appropriate loan products. - Work closely with underwriters, processors, and clients to ensure smooth loan origination and closing. - Attend and participate in sponsored events and networking opportunities to bring in new business and further expand the client's customer base. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and the private lending landscape. Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a loan officer, specifically with construction and fix-and-flip loan products. - Proven ability to self-produce leads and manage a pipeline of clients. - Strong understanding of private money lending, fix-and-flip financing, and construction loans. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with real estate investors, developers, and other stakeholders. - Experience with underwriting, structuring, and closing private money loans. - Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload efficiently. - Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
