Role Description We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team supporting the implementation of secure software solutions across the VA enterprise cloud environment. As a Data Scientist you will utilize expertise in discovering and analyzing complex data sets and data sources to derive actionable insights using statistical methods, machine learning and data visualization tools. You will also perform management and merging of disparate data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL. - Conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis - Utilize scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products to inform high quality analytic decisions - Proactively retrieve data from various sources and analyze data for better understanding - Build and utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Machine Learning (ML) tools to automate processes for efficiencies - Build high quality prediction systems - Utilize data visualization and graphical applications, to include Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau - Utilize major data science languages, such as R and Python - Perform statistical analysis, and data mining algorithms Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, with a minimum of 10 years of work experience - Experience in data visualization and use of graphical applications, including Microsoft Office Power BI and Tableau - Experienced in major data science languages, such as R and Python - Experienced in managing and merging disparate data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL - Experienced in statistical analysis and developing data mining algorithms - Experienced with large data multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics - Experienced in algorithm development, data structures, and software development practices - Working knowledge of coding and scripting, information science, mathematics, machine learning, visual analytic modeling tools, and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to create repeatable, widely applicable procedures to support all-source intelligence analysis and production - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions - Ability to work collaboratively with users and stakeholders - Capacity to adapt to changing situations to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Requirements - Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting - Standard business hours are Monday through Friday. Role Description This is a high-impact, hands-on programming position operating at Associate Director level, working closely with senior leadership to support critical business needs. Key Responsibilities - Act as a key internal technical resource across statistical programming activities - Deliver high-quality dashboards and visualizations using SAS, R Shiny and/or Python - Partner directly with executive leadership (C-suite) to support internal reporting needs - Respond to ad hoc requests from health authorities - Contribute to a growing Biometrics function within a small biotech environment Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience with SAS in clinical trials - Experience using R and/or Python - Proven ability to deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment - Experience supporting ad hoc regulatory requests - Background within a sponsor, CRO or academic setting - Ability to work independently while engaging with senior stakeholders

• Creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of product and master data across PIM, ERP, and shop systems • Ownership of data imports and exports for Akeneo and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central • Ensuring data consistency and integrity across all connected systems • Supporting new product launches, assortments, and market expansions • Close collaboration with Procurement, Product Development, E‑Commerce, IT, and Logistics teams • Analysis and resolution of data inconsistencies

• Build and launch URM’s Snowflake-based enterprise data warehouse, including scalable ingestion pipelines, transformation frameworks, semantic data models, performance optimization, and robust security controls. • Establish a modern enterprise analytics ecosystem, including a governed BI layer, standardized KPIs, executive dashboards, and self-service analytics capabilities that empower data-driven decision making. • Design and operationalize a scalable enterprise integration platform (Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar) connecting ERP, WMS, POS, store platforms, vendor systems, and member-facing solutions. • Define and implement enterprise data governance, including data ownership and stewardship models, data quality standards, master data strategy, and lifecycle management controls. • Develop and maintain enterprise data standards, including a comprehensive data dictionary, canonical data models, and reusable integration patterns to ensure consistency and interoperability. • Shape URM’s enterprise AI strategy and architecture, including data readiness standards, model governance frameworks, responsible AI policies, and initial high-value AI use cases. • Serve as the enterprise architecture authority for ERP and WMS modernization initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, and maintainable. • Recruit, build, and lead high-performing hybrid teams across onshore and offshore data, integration, and AI engineering disciplines. • Implement enterprise architecture governance, including architecture review boards, technical standards, and design oversight across major initiatives. • Establish a Development Center of Excellence (CoE) to standardize development practices, engineering methodologies, and delivery approaches across URM. • Develop a reusable catalog of applications, data products, and services that enable innovation and value creation for URM and its member store owners.
