Most job postings tell you what we need. This one asks what you can do. Douro Labs is a core contributor to the Pyth Network, the real-time financial data infrastructure powering DeFi across 50+ blockchains. We operate at the intersection of high-frequency data, decentralized systems, and open finance. The work is technically demanding, the stakes are real, and the mission matters: making trustworthy, low-latency market data a public good for the world. We do not always know in advance who we need next. But we know how exceptional people think, and we have learned that the most impactful hires often define their own scope. What This Is This is a standing invitation. If you do not see a role that matches what you do, that is not a reason to move on. Some of the best work being done at Douro Labs today was pitched to us by the person now doing it. Growth engines, technical integrations, research verticals, ecosystem programs, they exist here because someone saw a gap and made a compelling case to fill it. Your application is your job description. We mean that literally. Who We Are Looking For You have genuine conviction about Web3. Not because it is trendy, but because you have spent real time with it, building, researching, contributing, or breaking things open to understand how they work. You follow the protocol debates, you have opinions worth defending, and you care about where decentralized finance is actually going. You understand, or are ready to go deep on, why data infrastructure is foundational to all of it. Oracles are the trust layer in the Defi Stack. If that framing excites you, you are already thinking the way we do. You have a track record. Not necessarily a long one, but a real one. Shipped products, open-source contributions, published research, communities built from scratch, something that shows you do not just think about ideas but execute on them. You are high-agency. You do not wait to be told what is broken. You see the problem, you move on it, and you bring others along. In a fast-moving ecosystem, that instinct is more valuable than any specific credential. You are comfortable operating globally. We are a remote-first team with roots in Porto. Our collaborators, integrators, and stakeholders are spread across every major timezone. You navigate that naturally. What Working Here Actually Looks Like We are not a team that moves fast and we build fast! When you are the data layer for billions in on-chain activity, precision is the product. We take that seriously. At the same time, we are early enough that you will shape how things get built, not just execute someone else's vision. You will work alongside people who have shipped at Jump, Bloomberg, and leading crypto protocols. You will have real ownership over your domain. You will be challenged, and you will be trusted. How to Apply Click apply to find out! Share anything that shows your work: GitHub, a portfolio, research you have published, a project you are proud of. We read everything and review every application personally, on a rolling basis. The future of decentralized finance will be built by people who see around corners. If that is you, we want to hear from you.
