Servicing Operations Specialist

Kiavi

• Monitor and review borrower insurance (Hazard, Flood) and lender placed insurance documentation • Manage delinquent property tax review and payment process • Manage reconveyance, partial lien release, ADU Subordination, and CEMA request processes • Manage loss draft process, including release of insurance claim funds • Coordinate with borrower and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. custodian, investors) to resolve any issues with documentation (insurance, liens, reconveyance, etc) • Collaborate with other departments to provide a useful feedback loop for process updates • Resolve escalated issues or documents from Servicing and other departments • Document all customer interaction in Kiavi’s system of record • Requesting weekly collateral file releases from document custodian for PIF securitization loans • Functioning as a mentor and escalation contact for the Servicing Team relating to areas of expertise • Participate in monthly vendor calls to insure accountability to SLA’s and improve processes

Job Requirements

  • Ability to rapidly context switch between insurance, taxes, lien releases, and other tasks throughout the day
  • Ability to detach and prioritize a large workload in order of importance and deadline
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, particularly Sheets and Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • 2-3 years prior experience in mortgage loan servicing or origination, and familiarity with industry jargon and terminology
  • Escrow or Insurance experience preferred
  • Title review experience preferred
  • Clearly communicate the life-cycle of a mortgage from start to finish and have knowledge of the processing steps involved
  • In-depth knowledge of Tax, Escrow Analysis, Hazard Insurance, and Reconveyances preferred
  • Vendor management experience preferred

  • Employees are empowered to manage their own time off, with no strict limits, as long as it's approved by their manager.
  • Up to 8 weeks of paid leave for medical or caregiver purposes, and 12 weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave. Short-term disability leave is also available for birthing mothers.
  • A 401(k) plan managed by Fidelity, with Kiavi matching 100% of contributions up to 3% of compensation or $8,000 (whichever is less). All employer contributions are immediately vested.
