Regional Technical Manager – West
Armacell
• Implement the long-term upstream sales strategy in the assigned territories through insulation technical leadership. • Establish a customer base of mechanical engineers, specifiers, owners, and key stakeholders. • Develop new opportunities and capture market share within focused industries such as education, healthcare, and office/mixed use. • Provide advice to optimize system performance and knowledge on Code compliance. • Become an insulation technical expert for insulation users throughout the assigned territories. • Educate customers on Armacell offerings through demonstrations and presentations. • Contribute competitive market intelligence regarding performance of alternate materials and competitive activities. • Attend project site visits to assist clients with project delivery.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or related field required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of territory experience in HVAC, plumbing, construction, equipment industries.
- Familiarity of the refrigeration industry preferred.
- Expert knowledge on bid/specification process for commercial, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and industrial markets.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings to identify application and equipment for products.
- Ability to travel up to 65%.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.com, or similar CRM platform.
