Senior Frontend Engineer

• Collaborate with Agile Squad members to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality products built with Angular framework • Design, monitor, and improve product features, and become an expert in the technology and business domain they cover • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good SDLC practices and leading by example • Ensure long term maintainability of source code and the web app operating in production through code reviews, unit tests, documentation, and other common techniques • Support Product Managers and other non-technical stakeholders in making the best decisions on the cross-section of technology, customer experience, and business value
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend development experience utilizing core web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) as well as modern web app frameworks (Angular, React.js)
- 5+ years of experience with CSS-preprocessors (SASS/LESS)
- 4+ years of experience consuming REST/JSON APIs
- 2+ years of experience with implementing unit tests
- Experience working with build tools and continuous build/delivery processes
- Understanding of OOP and functional programming concepts
- Understanding and practicing SOLID principles
- Understanding of web security best practices
- Great design and problem-solving skills, passion for quality, and engineering excellence at scale
- Optionally: Experience with other languages besides JavaScript and TypeScript.
