Location: Remote US Role Overview As a Network Engineer at Telestream, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and security across the organization. You will play a critical role in monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, implementing network changes, and supporting internal users. Your expertise will help us maintain robust and efficient network operations while aligning with our strategic goals.

Job Requirements

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to guarantee reliable connectivity for all staff.
  • Monitor network performance and provide optimization recommendations.
  • Conduct regular system and security audits, identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating risks.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Document network configurations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in networking and network security.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar IT role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network infrastructure components (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Must have Fortinet experience, IPV6, site-to-site tunnels at a minimum.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Experience managing network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
