GIS Analyst
Roadway Management Technologies
• extracting, processing, and completing QA/QC • Occasionally creating and editing spatial data through QGIS and ArcGIS Pro • Working closely with the Chief Technical Officer to coordinate data extraction from the collection vehicles into usable data for processing • Work with the Field Operations Manager to identify corrupt and missing data, locate anomalies, and report any discrepancies to management • Utilize software like ICC Connect and Microsoft Azure, juggling multiple tasks at once • Processing and evaluating ROW data from the collection process • Maintain open communication with the team of GIS Specialists to ensure quick and easy pass off of data processing • Perform quality control measures by reviewing extracted data to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies • Operating the Roadway Asset Collection (RAC) vehicle on an as-needed basis • Assist in preparing data dictionaries for right of way asset extraction projects • Perform quality checks on extracted right of way assets • Review of client GIS files for accuracy to assist with sales and operations costing and collection • Prepare imagery and data tables for videologger importation • Other duties as assigned.
