Business Development Representative – Inside Sales
Sparkhound
• Identify and engage potential leads • Initiate conversations and introduce Sparkhound services via email, phone calls, and LinkedIn • Actively call prospects over the phone, send direct emails, perform LinkedIn outreaches, and engage in other secondary prospecting activities • Follow Sparkhound’s qualification process to assess the needs of potential customers and determine if they are a good fit for our services • Schedule prospect meetings • Make at least 60 calls to the target market per day • Send at least 50 emails to the target market per day • Schedule at least 2 qualified first-time appointments per week • Record all lead generation activity in Apollo.io
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of inside sales experience (lead generation and high-volume outreach) in any industry, or a recent graduate with a sales-related degree seeking to build foundational experience in tech sales
- Proven ability to generate positive conversations with prospects
- Proficiency in Apollo.io is preferred
- Ability to form relationships across the organization
- Strong, persuasive verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in a sales role, with a focus on lead generation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome objections and close deals
- Solid understanding of sales methodologies and techniques
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric mindset
