AMS Program Manager
Marsh McLennan
• The Program Manager is a key driver of execution and ownership within the team, fostering a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. • Partnering closely with Program Management, this role oversees the development, organization, and execution of program tools, deliverables, and project management processes to ensure alignment with AMS program objectives. • Responsibilities include documenting and maintaining procedures and artifacts for training and reference, leading training sessions for new and existing team members, and collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps and continuous improvement opportunities. • The Program Manager also proactively manages program risks, coordinates resources, tracks performance metrics, and supports change management to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing program success. • In addition, the Program Manager performs regular program maintenance, quickly identifies and resolves issues by engaging the right stakeholders with urgency, and ensures quality and budget adherence. • This role facilitates clear communication across teams and stakeholders, drives process improvements, and aligns program goals with broader organizational priorities.
Job Requirements
- Understanding of the insurance brokerage business
- Awareness of the impact and consequences of decisions affecting program objectives
- Proven critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- A knack for process improvement, specifically refining the efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of various program tools, processes, and procedures by deploying project management best practices
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple projects simultaneously, and demonstrated successful follow through on deliverables
- Team player! Enthusiastic and engaging with an ability to work with a wide range of cross-functional teams and leaders
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management
- Challenges the status quo to make process improvement recommendations
- Experience working with Microsoft Office tool suite (PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, OneNote) and project management software such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
- Demonstrates a bias for action and a commitment to achieving sustainable results

• Standards & Governance: work cross-functionally with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to establish and maintain third-party risk standards and governance practices. • Due Diligence & Monitoring: Conduct comprehensive vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring activities, including evaluating consumer-impact risk, complaint analysis, and confirming privacy and data protection standards. • Documentation & Reporting: Manage third-party risk documentation and reporting, including maintaining the vendor and data processor inventory, ensuring timely onboarding and offboarding due diligence, and executing periodic compliance reviews. • Risk Assessment: Execute day-to-day risk assessments to determine vendor criticality and identify inherent risks in categories such as PII handling, BSA/AML, and credit decisioning. • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Legal to ensure effective contracts are in place and with Information Security to validate the technical safeguards of our third-party partners. • Issue Escalation: Identify, track, and escalate risk events or performance failures to senior leadership and bank partners through established issue-tracking systems.
