Business Process Analyst

• Support operational effectiveness through coordination, documentation, and maintenance of business process materials across ESSC. • Partner with stakeholders across clinical, operational, administrative, and support functions to document current-state workflows, track action items, maintain process records, and support routine process improvement activities. • Review existing processes and materials to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve clarity, consistency, and operational efficiency. • Develop and maintain process documentation, including workflow materials, standard operating procedures, meeting notes, and related reference tools, in collaboration with subject matter experts. • Coordinate assigned process-related activities by scheduling meetings, tracking action items, maintaining timelines, organizing documentation, and following up with stakeholders on routine deliverables. • Support cross-functional meetings and working sessions by preparing materials, capturing decisions, documenting follow-up items, and helping maintain alignment on next steps. • Support implementation of new or revised processes by coordinating communications, updating documentation, and assisting teams with adoption of established procedures. • Maintain organized, accurate, and current process documentation and related records to support day-to-day operations and ongoing reference needs. • Partner with operational and leadership stakeholders to support process-related priorities, maintain documentation standards, and assist with coordination of improvement efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field required.
  • Professional certification in project management, business process analysis, process improvement, or continuous improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in business process analysis, operational improvement, workflow analysis, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to assess business needs, document current-state processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Experience in healthcare, human services, or similarly complex operational environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret business processes, workflows, and operational data to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong requirements-gathering and facilitation skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders, ask effective questions, and translate complex or varied input into clear, actionable documentation.
  • Ability to document current-state and future-state processes, including developing process maps, workflow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate information, assess impact, and develop practical, sustainable recommendations.
  • Ability to manage workstreams independently, including organizing tasks, coordinating meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining timelines across multiple stakeholders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings, facilitate discussions, and communicate recommendations clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, administrative, and support functions, to foster alignment and shared understanding.

Role Description SAIC's Business Management organization is seeking an experienced and highly adaptable senior member to support its Commercial Operating Segment. This role sits within SAIC's Solutions, Technology and Enterprise Partnerships (STEP) organization, which serves as the Center of Excellence for alternative acquisition models and commercial contracting across the enterprise. This position can be worked 100% remote for the right candidate. The Commercial Bus Proc Analyst Sr. Principal will be a part of a team of contracts, subcontracts, and pricing professionals, with the primary responsibility of supporting the operational effectiveness of a Commercial practice and business segment within SAIC. The position encompasses: - Establishing, managing, and executing commercial strategies, alliances, and innovative product development. - Executing the development, implementation, and offer of targeted Commercial Product and Service Solution prices and financial evaluation models. - Enabling SAIC executive leadership to make strategic Go To Market decisions through interpretation of market research. - Setting of commercial list prices and preparation of short term and long term Revenue and Profitability projections.
