Apprentice – Administrative Assistant

The Nature Conservancy

• Support basic administrative activities for the area or project, always under supervision • Organize, file, scan and record physical and digital documents • Assist with completing forms, updating spreadsheets and databases • Support the collection of information and conduct simple research for reports • Distribute documents and correspondence and support basic internal controls • Handle telephone reception, record messages and forward requests • Assist in organizing meetings, schedules and internal events • Review administrative documents (e.g., invoices, bills) without responsibility for final validation • Follow The Nature Conservancy’s Code of Conduct and internal procedures • Ensure the integrity, organization and confidentiality of information

Job Requirements

  • Age in accordance with apprenticeship legislation (14 to 24 years old; exceptions apply for persons with disabilities)
  • Organizational skills, responsibility and eagerness to learn
  • Availability to meet apprenticeship hours and training activities
  • Minimum education: High school in progress or completed
  • Language: Portuguese (oral and written communication skills)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Role Description The Lead Medical Assistant is a healthcare professional who is an essential member of the patient-centered health care team.
