QA Automation Engineer

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks, pipelines, and automated tests (unit, API, integration, E2E). • Write and execute automated and manual tests; analyze logs, metrics, and defects. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine requirements and testing strategies. • Document frameworks, test cases, and reporting metrics. • Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery of quality software. • Work closely with product managers and development teams to align on requirements and acceptance criteria. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Ensure software compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR. • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on proven experience in software QA with a focus on writing automation test cases, preferably in the health tech industry.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks.
- Basic SQL skills for database validation and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR). (Preferred)
