Role Description As a Senior Technical Program Manager, Finance Engineering you will lead complex, enterprise-scale initiatives that enable and scale Activision Blizzard’s finance technology ecosystem. You will partner closely with Finance, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact programs from inception through execution and ongoing operations. Success in this role means driving clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes across a diverse portfolio while continuously improving processes and enabling innovation within Finance Engineering. This is a remote opportunity. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: - Contribute to and influence product strategy and roadmap for finance applications - Prioritize projects, portfolios, and operational tasks to define clear milestones, schedules, and resource plans - Ensure program goals, milestones, and deliverables are achieved on schedule and within budget - Develop program status reporting and communicate proactively across all levels regarding schedules, risks, and issues - Identify risks and blockers early and drive mitigation plans to resolution - Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes - Define, implement, and improve project management processes, driving adoption of Agile best practices - Partner with stakeholders to develop test strategies, defect tracking, reporting, and approvals - Drive change management planning and execution across finance programs - Foster a collaborative, transparent, and feedback-driven team environment within Finance Engineering - Adapt and expand program scope as priorities, technologies, and processes evolve Qualifications - 7+ years of experience as a program manager or project manager delivering enterprise application programs - Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives across engineering and business teams - Experience managing internal and external vendor resources across complex programs - Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies, including Agile frameworks - Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Oracle EBS) and finance technology ecosystems - Experience with data, database, and analytics tools supporting enterprise applications - Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills across all organizational levels - Highly organized, detail-oriented problem solver with strong execution discipline - Self-motivated and able to deliver results independently in a dynamic environment - Ability to influence without direct authority and lead through ambiguity Requirements - Experience working within modern finance technology landscapes and ecosystems - Experience supporting security, compliance, or risk-related initiatives - Product management experience in enterprise environments - Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools - Advanced understanding of Agile delivery practices, portfolio management, and delivery frameworks - Experience with Smartsheet and traditional Waterfall methodologies - Experience enabling or exploring AI-driven use cases within enterprise finance platforms - Passion for the gaming or entertainment industry - Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on innovation and operational excellence Benefits - Medical, dental, vision, health savings account or health reimbursement account, healthcare spending accounts, dependent care spending accounts, life and AD&D insurance, disability insurance - 401(k) with Company match, tuition reimbursement, charitable donation matching - Paid holidays and vacation, paid sick time, floating holidays, compassion and bereavement leaves, parental leave - Mental health & wellbeing programs, fitness programs, free and discounted games, and a variety of other voluntary benefit programs like supplemental life & disability, legal service, ID protection, rental insurance, and others - If the Company requires that you move geographic locations for the job, then you may also be eligible for relocation assistance
