• Take technical responsibility for all stages in the software development process for a functional track. • Design, configure, test, correct, and document large complex programs and application modifications from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well engineered result. • Participate in work product reviews. • Conduct peer code reviews to ensure optimization of base features and adherence to Guidewire best practices. • Set local or team-based standards for configuration programming tools and techniques, then advise on their application and ensures compliance. • Investigate and implement tools, techniques, and processes for managing configuration items and verify that related information is complete, current, and accurate. • Learn and master your assigned Guidewire product in order to become a configuration resource and achieve Guidewire certification as a Subject Matter Expert. • Consult with insurance carrier business and technical resources to produce business requirements and functional design documents. • Partner with client business teams to understand business objectives and integration requirements using both business and technical skills. • Responsible for establishing project related goals and has a significant role in delegating responsibilities. • Estimate the effort required to configure the software. • Work with Guidewire product management/development to share configuration concepts and further develop our core product features. • Provide exemplary service, technical advice, and guidance to ensure use of base features and best practices. • Handle difficult questions on-the-spot from Guidewire customers, partners, vendors, or other stakeholders. • Influence customers, partners, peers, and direct reports on standards, methods, tools, and applications relevant to own specialization and able to make appropriate choices from alternatives. • Exposure to AI-enabled delivery methods, such as code or configuration generation, automation frameworks, or analytics-driven implementation metrics.

• Engage directly with customers to assess automation landscapes, conduct workshops, and gather detailed business and technical requirements. • Perform architecture assessments, environment audits, and readiness reviews to define robust, scalable, and secure automation solutions. • Provide proactive advisory, architectural guidance, and hands-on support throughout project lifecycles. • Lead design, planning, and deployment of IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) and HCL Workload Automation (HWA) in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. • Define integration strategies with SAP, Oracle, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, DevOps pipelines (Jenkins), ServiceNow, and other enterprise systems. • Implement best practices for automation governance, standards, and operational excellence. • Architect and integrate AI-driven automation patterns and agentic workflows to enhance business process efficiency.

• Lead end-to-end architectural design, process, and technical strategy for enterprise-grade SAP products • Drive blueprinting, modernization, and scalable integration of Multi-Target Applications (MTAs) • Discuss business process challenges and formulate corresponding technical solution architecture • Design highly available, secure, and performant platform components across TypeScript-based NodeJS CAP service architectures • Guide strategy across SAPUI5 modernization approaches and cloud-native architecture principles • Serve as technical and process authority across engineering, product, SAP ABAP teams, and business stakeholders

• Design and implement backup-based cloud solutions, including Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Cloud Connect • Design and implement Zerto-based disaster recovery solutions, including Zerto Virtual Manager, Zerto Cloud Manager, Virtual Replication Appliances, and Zerto Cloud Connectors • Design and implement VMware Live Recovery solutions, including Site Recovery Manager and Live Recovery integrations or other backup solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define architecture solutions that align with business objectives • Evaluate and recommend cloud services, backups, and DR technologies that enhance performance, security, and cost-effectiveness • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including design specifications and implementation plans • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability • Design and document operational best practices and implementation standards within cloud environments • Provide technical leadership and guidance to sales engineering, product development and operations teams to design, build, operate and maintain cloud environments • Provide technical guidance on customer engagements to educate customers on RapidScale’s BDR solutions • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Veeam, Zerto, and VMware Live Recovery or other backups and DR environments • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BDR technologies
