We’re looking for an experienced Engineer III (Water Resources) to help us deliver stream, wetland, and stormwater restoration projects from concept through construction. This is a technical leadership role—ideal for a licensed engineer with advanced design skills, modeling proficiency, and the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project delivery. You’ll be based out of one of our regional offices or design hubs, working closely with engineers, scientists, and project managers across disciplines. You’ll spend most of your time on technical design and coordination, with occasional travel for site assessments, field data collection, construction oversight, and agency meetings. Remote work arrangements are possible for this role. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of infrastructure solutions by transforming your industry knowledge into actionable data, empowering next-generation AI technologies.

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards. • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs. • Provide technical support in site/civil design, hydrology/hydraulics, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater management • Coordinate permitting with County and local municipalities. Experience with local municipalities is a plus. • Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management. • Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks. • Work with project management team to identify impediments and develop / implement solutions to overcome obstacles. • Perform pavement assessments and compiling data and reports • Occasional field work, frequent local travel, and overnight travel as needed • Other duties as assigned
